Clown Fight Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
Clown Fight is a game for iPhone and iPad made by Kyle Tice (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you play it. The short version: we don’t collect any.
What we collect
Nothing. Clown Fight:
- has no accounts and no sign-up;
- shows no ads and has no in-app purchases;
- contains no analytics, tracking or advertising code, our own or anyone else’s;
- doesn’t connect to any server of ours. It works fully offline.
We never see your name, your photos, your scores or anything else you do in the game.
What stays on your device
The game saves its own progress on your device so you can carry on where you left off:
- each player’s kid (the name you type, up to 8 letters, and the outfit you choose);
- progress on the bill, medals, pies, best scores and settings.
This is stored in the app’s own storage on your device. It’s included in your device backups as usual, and it’s removed when you delete the app. You can also remove a player in the game from the title screen: PLAYER, then the remove option.
On iPhone and iPad, iOS can also keep crash and battery reports on the device (Apple’s MetricKit). The game keeps them on the device and never sends them to us. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash and performance statistics. You can turn that off at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
Game Center
Game Center is Apple’s service, and using it is up to you. If you’re signed in to Game Center on your device, the game sends your achievements and best scores to it so they appear in Game Center and on leaderboards. Leaderboards show your Game Center nickname to other players. Apple handles this under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We don’t receive your Apple Account details. You can play the whole game without Game Center, and turn it off in your device’s Settings.
Photo booth pictures
After a win, the photo booth makes a picture of your kid and the clown. It only leaves the game if you choose to share it or save it with the share sheet. If you save it to Photos, iOS asks your permission first, and the game can only add pictures. It can’t see your photo library. Where a shared picture goes after that is up to the app you send it to.
Children
Clown Fight is made to be safe for children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either. That includes no information under the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The name a child types stays on the device. There’s no chat and no way for players to contact each other in the game, and there are no links out of the game.
This website
The Clown Fight website has no cookies, analytics, ads or trackers, and loads nothing from other sites: its fonts and pictures come from the site itself. It’s hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log visitors’ IP addresses to keep the service secure, as described in GitHub’s privacy statement. We don’t see or use those logs.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
